design.

At this moment in time, working on the computer is my everything.

The web and graphic design work I've been fortunate enough to have keeps me busy, happy, and learning constantly. Looking back, I've been doing web design for some time...just on my own sites and it didn't feel like work. When my boss asked me to take over the restaurant's website last year, it literally sparked everything I have going on professionally now. I jumped in on the marketing and branding, which led to exciting graphic design opportunities, and I now have a much more cohesive understanding of the design/marketing world.

On top of loving to create on the computer what I see in my head, I love helping a client bring their brand to life and use my knowledge of social media and promotion to better market their business. Websites are crucial. I know...I have 2 of my own. A website is a ridiculously powerful tool for a business/blog/brand because you can show your whole vibe in 1 place with all the information needed. Websites can't just be pretty, though. Functionality and being user friendly are hugely important to realistically maintain and benefit from a website. I like to help clients use their website, not just look at it. Streamlining and coming up with a plan of action for business marketing makes me very happy.

I have been fortunate enough to make and run 2 websites for others and my own 2 sites. I've learned a lot and have SO much more I'm excited to learn. As I learn more and more graphic design, the more I love it. I've put together a gallery of random things I've made either for clients, friends, The Jetty, or my boredom...it's too much fun not to do.
